PONTOON REBUILD

The Helford River Boats pontoon was in desperate need of some ‘TLC’ and thus, at the end of the 2022 season, it was sailed upriver to Gweek Boat Yard where it was taken out of the water for repairs. This involved a multi-man team and careful navigation of the Helford River as the famous easterly wind could force the pontoon into other moored vessels or the rocks! The task was made worse by the torrential rain that was relentless throughout the day. We have visited HRB over 14 times in 2022 and sadly, this was our last visit of the 2022 season. It all starts again in 2023!
